Dorothy R. Puchone

Age 83, of West Deer Township, passed away with family at her side on Friday, February 2, 2024 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born in West Deer Township on January 1, 1941 and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Ambrose) Jurash.

Dorothy worked as a custodian for the Deer Lakes School District. She enjoyed baking, gardening, and loved animals. Dorothy was of Lutheran faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Puchone. Survivors include her two sons, Craig (Susan) Puchone of East Deer Township and Kevin Puchone of East Deer Township.

No visitation and per her wishes there will be no funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s name to the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA 15068.
