Robert W. “Rob” Coffman

Age 62, of Freeport, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born on May 31,1961 and was the son of Sue Solomon Coffman of Washington Township and the late Robert C. Coffman.  

Rob was a Class of 1979 Kiski Area High School graduate.  He attended Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center during high school and was a skilled welder.  He worked for Chase Industries Inc. in Leechburg for 25 years.  Rob liked to fish, hunt and camp.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, playing Xbox games, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Survivors include his wife, Karen Hobi Coffman, three children, Jessica (Travis) Love of Freeport, Charles “Bud” McHenry of Valencia, and Ashley Uptegraph of Freeport, four grandchildren, Jake, Logan, Reagan and Trace, his sister, Bonnie (Mike) Guzzi of Washington Township, several nieces and nephews and his dog, Spike.  

In accordance with Rob’s wishes there will be no visitation and services will be private.  

Arrangements entrusted to the Paul R. Ajak Funeral Homes, Inc., Creighton and Natrona.  The family would like to thank the staff at Allegheny Health Network Home Hospice for the wonderful and compassionate care Rob received.  

Memorial contributions may be made in Rob’s name to Adult Living at Rosebrook, 723 S. Pike Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
