Sandra "Sandy" L. Lyons

Sandra “Sandy” L. Lyons, 62, of Frazer Township, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.  She was the daughter of the late Arden B. and Helen (Enterline) Lyons and was born on July 4, 1961 in Natrona Heights.  

Sandy was a Deer Lakes High School graduate.  She worked as a Nursing Assistant at East Deer Personal Care Home, Creighton.  Sandy attended Deer Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene.  She was talented at making plastic canvas crafts to share with others, enjoyed dancing, and was an avid reader.  Sandy was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.  Survivors include her brothers, Arden B. (Jo) Lyons of Natrona, Keith (Mary) Lyons of Lower Burrell, her sisters, Marsha Robertson of Lake Placid, Florida, Barbara Olszewski of East Deer Township, Linda Lyons of Frazer Township, Cindy Schuster (Rick) of Canton, Ohio, her best friend, Connie George of West Deer Township, many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Lyons.  

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2024 in the Paul R. Ajak Funeral Home, 921 Freeport Road, Creighton, PA 15030, www.ajakfh.com.  The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
