Helen J. (Thimons) Stuckley

Age 95, of Creighton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.  Born on July 4, 1922, in Creighton, she was the daughter of the late Louis L. and Anna (Stovcsik) Thimons.  She was a lifelong resident of Creighton.  Helen enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, and baking.  She especially loved spending time with her family and traveling to their Tidioute camp.  She was a member of Holy Family R.C. Church, Creighton and was a very active volunteer in the church.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, David L. Stuckley, Sr., on June 21, 2011; a grandson, Ronald D. Stuckley; a great-grandson, Jeffrey L. Stuckley; her brother, Louis Thimons and her sister, Ester Buczek.  Survivors include two sons, David (Linda) Stuckley of Frazer Township and William P. Stuckley, Sr. of Creighton and a daughter, Donna L. Stuckley of Creighton; five grandchildren, Jeffrey S. (Kelly) Stuckley, Amy S. (the late Daniel) Stokes, Christina (Shane) Pryal, Jamie (Chip) Mitchell and William P. Stuckley, Jr. and  11 great-grandchildren.  Visitation and services will be private as per Helen's wishes.  Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas L. Gillespie, MD.  Private family burial will be held in Prospect Cemetery, Brackenridge.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Make-A-Wish, 707 Grant Street, 37th Floor Pittsburgh, PA 15219 or www.greaterpawv.wish.org.
