Karen A. (Skripets) Boscia

Age 62 of East Deer Twp., passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018. She was born in New Kensington on February 23, 1956 and is the daughter of Martha (Samay) Skripets of Springdale and the late Edward F. Skripets. Karen was the owner of Budget Rental Car & Truck of Cheswick. She enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren, traveling, cooking and baking. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Ron Boscia; her loving son, Jason M. Colwes of East Deer Twp.; her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Sarah and Adam Colwes; her brother,  Edward F. (Jeannie) Skripets, Jr. of Springdale and her sister, Carol (Guy) Vento of Oakmont; her nieces, Amanda (Anthony) Merola and Megan Dell. Friends received Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 3 p.m. -  8 p.m. at the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 921 Freeport Rd. Creighton, where a parting prayer will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, Springdale. Entombment Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
