Maureen (McPherson) Mitchell

Age 58, of Brackenridge, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 8, 2019.  She was born December 15, 1960, in Natrona Heights to the late Harold and Emilie (Szczesny) McPherson. Maureen was a former administrative assistant at Genco. She loved to cook and volunteered at various activities that her children were involved in. Maureen was a devoted and loving wife & mother. She is survived by her loving & adored husband of 26 years, John; her beloved daughters, Emilie and Maria, both at home; two stepdaughters, Hollie Boyd and Noelle Mitchell, both of New Kensington; her sister, Karen Neil of Texas, her brother, Larry of PA; several aunts, uncles and cousins; also survived by five step grandchildren. She was preceded in by her parents, and a brother, Bob McPherson. Per Maureen’s  wishes there will be no visitation, service and interment private.
