Patricia L. (Schafer) Yobp

Age 82 of New Kensington, passed away after a heroic battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Belair Health & Rehab Center, Lower Burrell. Pat was born July 19, 1935 in New Kensington and was the daughter of the late Leland and Alice (Marshall) Schafer. She was a lifetime resident of New Kensington and Arnold. Patricia devoted her life as a caregiver to her family, friends, pets, and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Thomas R. Yobp. She will be missed by her loving children, Kim (Kenneth) Kearney and Roy (Michelle) Yobp; seven cherished grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also a sister, Karen Kelley and four nephews. There will be no visitation. Service and Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville is private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME, INC., Creighton.
