Peter T. Krysik

Age 92, of Frazer Township, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Born on June 11, 1926 in Creighton he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Kowalik) Krysik. Mr. Krysik worked in the Twindow Division at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company in Creighton for over 40 years. He was an Army WWII veteran. He was a member of Janes United Methodist Church, Creighton and a lifetime member of Frazer Township Volunteer Fire Department No. 1. Mr. Krysik loved celebrating his birthday every year on Flag Day, June 14, and enjoyed gardening and hunting. Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen M. Krysik of Brackenridge and Janet (David) Bissell of Butler, and a son, Peter J. (Cynthia) Krysik of Strattanville, Pa.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Andrew Krysik of Templeton and John Krysik of Hughesville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia (McCaskey) Krysik on October 6, 1989, a daughter Karen Krysik on July 25, 2017; and his nine siblings, Julius Krysik, Louis Krysik, Paul Krysik, Julia Krysik Sutorka, Jean Krysik Cocchi, Lewis Krysik, Pauline Krysik Young, Frances Krysik Poliak, and Frank Krysik. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Paul R. Ajak Funeral Home, Inc., 921 Freeport Road, Creighton. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until Funeral Services at 11 a.m. in the Janes United Methodist Church, 947 Freeport Road, Creighton. His Pastor, the Rev. Wayne Schar will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
