Robert B. Bubash

Age 77, of Natrona, passed away on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Robert was born Feb. 3, 1940, and was the son of the late Frank and Jennie (Klimkowski) Bubash. Robert was a 1958 graduate of Har-Brack High School, and retired as foreman in 1997 from Allegheny Ludlum Steel He was a former pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies organization, and a member of the Allegheny-Kiski Valley Sports Hall of Fame. Robert was a member of St. Joseph Parish. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Janet (Citterberg) Bubash. He was the loving father to Dana, Kristen, and Jaclyn, all of Brackenridge; cherished grandfather to Braedon Paz; brother of Adele (Kenneth) McCormack, of Natrona Heights, Patrick (Joyce) Bubash, of Natrona Heights, Karen (Lou) Veri, of Natrona, Douglas (Gloria) Bubash, of Natrona Heights, and Michele (James) Staninecz, of Freeport; and a brother-in-law, Ronald (Judith) Citterberg, of Delaware, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard G. Bubash. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME INC., 2 Pine St., Natrona, where a parting prayer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, followed at 10 a.m. by a funeral Mass in St. Ladislaus Worship Site, Natrona. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
