Age 67 of Brackenridge, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born in Natrona Heights on January 26, 1951, and was a son of the late Norman F. and Blanche (Schreckengost) Bernard. Roger owned Boots Bar, Brackenridge. He served in the Army, and was a member of the VFW Natrona Heights, American Legion, Brackenridge, Outdoor Life Lodge, Fawn Twp. and the Brothers of the Third Wheel. He enjoyed building and riding trikes. Roger was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry W. Bernard. He is survived by his sons, Roger Jr., Brian and Barry Bernard; his siblings, Kathy Levandoski of New Jersey, Randall (Bonnie) Bernard of Ellijay, GA, Cheryl (Robert) Strohm of Port St. Lucie, FL and Carol "Susie" Rusak of Tarentum; also by his grandchildren and many nieces & nephews; "Just Passin Thru". A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Brackenridge American Legion, 845 First Avenue.
