Dorothy M. (Fenoglietto) Wislie
Age, 91, of Tarentum, formerly of Frazer Township, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was on born November 14, 1930, in East Deer Township, and was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Barbus) Fenoglietto.
Dorothy was a Class of 1948 graduate of East Deer High School. She worked as a tax collector for Frazer Township for 40 years. Dorothy was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Creighton. She was a charter member of the Frazer Volunteer Fire Department No. 2 Ladies Auxiliary. Line dancing was a favorite pastime for her until she was 89 years young. Dorothy also enjoyed playing the guitar and playing cards.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Paul A. Wislie, on April 1, 1992; her brother, James Phillips Fenoglietto; and a sister, Jeannie Ewing. Survivors include two sons, Paul (Deborah) Wislie Jr., of Tarentum and David (Ginger) Wislie, of Frazer Township; a daughter, Jeannie (Christopher) Enciso, of Washington Township; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022, in the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME INC., 921 Freeport Road, Creighton, PA 15030. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. in the funeral home Friday, February 4, 2022. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
