Evelyn J. (Pucko) Kowalski

Age 91, formerly of Natrona, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at her daughter’s residence where she was living.  She was born on August 3, 1931 in Natrona Heights and was the daughter of the late Wendell and Catherine (Kolek) Pucko.  Evelyn was also a longtime resident of Natrona Heights.  

She moved to Natrona when she married her husband, the late Frank Kowalski.  They met while working together at Liberty Mirror in Brackenridge.  Mrs. Kowalski enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, solving word search puzzles, and was an avid reader.  She was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, the former Saint Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church in Natrona.  

Survivors include a daughter, Joan A. Kowalski of Natrona Heights, two grandsons, Emerson Begolly of Natrona and Shea Begolly (Abby Starck) of Costa Mesa, California, and her sister, Dorothy Tahon of Gibsonia. Evelyn cherished the friendships she made at the Harrison High Rise in Natrona Heights during the years she lived there. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Frank A. Kowalski who passed away on November 15, 1993 and three siblings including her close brother, John Varbel.

The family would like to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice as well as, Edward Freeman for their unwavering support this past year.

There will be no visitation.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be private.
