Jean (Turko) Bajack
Age 93, formerly of Frazer Township, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at Butler Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 28, 1928 in Carnegie and was the daughter of the late Wassel and Rose (Herman) Turko. Mrs. Bajack was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Tarentum. She enjoyed being a homemaker, fishing with her late husband, Joseph, visiting casinos, playing bingo, watching horse racing, and eating dinner out at the Red Lobster with her family. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joseph Bajack, and her sister, Rose Czuczman. Survivors include a daughter, Lana J. Farione of Natrona Heights, two grandchildren, Justin (Lindsay) Farione of Lower Burrell, and Ashley J. Farione of Gibsonia, three great-grandsons, Nico, August and Rocco Farione and her sister, Anna Eich of Greentree.
Relatives and friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in the Paul R. Ajak Funeral Home, Inc., 921 Freeport Road, Creighton, PA 15030. Parastas will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Panachida will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2022 in the funeral home followed by the Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church, 339 E. 10th Avenue, Tarentum, PA 15084. The Monsignor Lawrence A. Dominik will be officiating. Burial will be in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
