Jean Louise (Marengo) Cagna
Age 86, of New Kensington, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on January 26, 1936 in Natrona Heights and was the daughter of the late Sylvan and Mary (Arcoletti) Marengo. Jean was a longtime resident of New Kensington and Creighton. She was a graduate of East Deer-Frazer High School Class of 1953 and Allegheny Valley Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1956, Natrona Heights. Jean worked for 42 years as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Mount Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington.
Jean enjoyed traveling, card club and was a caregiver to family members. She is survived by her son, Fred J. Cagna of New Kensington and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cagna who passed away in 1982.
A private blessing service was held and burial followed in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Arrangements entrusted to the Paul R. Ajak Funeral Home, Inc., Creighton.
