Julienne "Julie" (Toscolani) Veschi

Age 76, of Russellton, formerly of East Deer Township, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Feb. 20, 1947, in Natrona Heights and was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Ann (Vrotney) Toscolani.

Julie was a graduate of East Deer-Frazer High School, Class of 1965, and Newport Business Institute, Lower Burrell. She worked as an accountant at Blawnox Equipment and Harmarville Rehabilitation. Julie was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer. Julie enjoyed ceramics, baking, reading, and traveling with her husband, David, to historical sites and places. Julie also was a Democratic East Deer Township committee member. She loved her dogs and cats, and especially treasured her family.

Survivors include her husband, David J. Veschi; stepchildren, David C. (Irina) Veschi, of Cumming, Ga., and Delia L. (Paul) Barrera, of Shoreline, Wash.; her step-grandson, Derek Veschi, of Cumming, Ga.; a brother, Angelo (Jodi) Toscolani Jr., of Russellton; and many dear cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Paula A. Toscolani.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023, in the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME INC., 921 Freeport Road, Creighton, PA 15030. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Fr. Brendan H. Dawson. Burial will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
