Age  58, of Lower Burrell, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.  He was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma on February 25, 1962 and was the son of Charles L. Thimons Sr. and Catherine (Benecki) Thimons of Lower Burrell.  His parents relocated to Pittsburgh where Ken attended Burrell High School and graduated in 1980.  After high school, Ken attended Penn State University, University Park and Penn Technical Institute where he earned his degree.  Ken began his career at JV Manufacturing Co. in Natrona Heights where he worked as a precision machinist for 23 years.  During that time, he married and raised four children with whom he remained close with his entire life.  Ken enjoyed Steelers football, music, trivia, collecting sports memorabilia, playing in his softball league, and most of all,  loved spending time with his four grandchildren.  He will be forever remembered as a loving father and an attentive and loving grandfather.  In addition to his parents, survivors include his children, Katelyn Thimons, Mario (Aleisha) Thimons, Mallory Thimons and Vincent Thimons and four grandchildren, Tristan, Isla, Delaney, and Scarlett.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles L. "Chuck" Thimons Jr., on August 17, 2018.  There will be no visitation.  A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Paul R.
