Linda Leigh Pivik Yount Kissel

Age 67, of Creighton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 19, 2021, with family at her side.  She will be forever missed by her beloved husband of 27 years, Edward Kissel; loving mother of Rebecca (Scott) Milne and Regina (Justin) Finley; step-mother of Olivia and Christine Kissel; devoted grandmother of Emily Yount, Lindsay and Sebastian Milne; step-grandmother of Fawn and Kenny Kissel, Erin (John) Hensley; sisters Jean Prior and Fran (Gary) Kropelak; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha (Pugh) and Frank "Peewee" Pivik.

Linda was a 1971 graduate of Deer Lakes High School, and after receiving her nursing degree, she spent her days caring for those who could not care for themselves.
 

She was a life long active member of First Baptist Church in Tarentum, and recently became a member of Riverside Community Church. Linda was a treasured friend to many and always made time to help someone in need and her infectious laughter will be remembered by all who knew her.

Friends will be received Thursday, July 22nd from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 921 Freeport Road, Creighton, where a service will be held on  Friday at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to Riverside Community Church children and youth.
