Lorraine "Lori" A. (Magoc) Kabay
Age 60, of Lower Burrell, passed away unexpectedly with family by her side on Friday, March 19, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on January 14, 1961 in Natrona Heights and was the daughter of Peter and Patricia (Zaken) Magoc of Natrona Heights.
Lori was a graduate of Highlands High School Class of 1979 and a graduate of Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1982. She was a Registered Nurse and the owner and operator of Alle-Kiski Caregivers, LLC, an in-home care provider. Lori was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa, New Kensington. She was a very generous and kind-hearted person, volunteering her time to many organizations and as a philanthropic supporter to many charities. She loved being a mother and was a great one! Lori was a very organized individual and when she and her husband, George, traveled, she had their itineraries neatly organized. She and George traveled all over the world and enjoyed many wonderful family vacations. Lori gave in death as she gave in life as an organ donor.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her husband of 39 years, George T. Kabay, her two sons, Adam Kabay (Jess Grayburn) of Creighton and Victor (Alexis) Kabay of Lower Burrell, her brother, Matthew (Tracie) Magoc of Natrona Heights, a sister, Sharon (Carl) Misera of Oakmont, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jonathan Joseph Kabay.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in Mount Saint Peter Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Burial will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. Arrangements entrusted to the Paul R. Ajak Funeral Home, Inc., Creighton. Memorial contributions in Lori's name, may be given to St. Jude's, www.stjude.org or The Salvation Army, www.salvationarmyusa.org.
