Obituary

Lorrene E. Hayden, 87, of Natrona Heights, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.  Born on January 28, 1936 in Tarentum to the late Charles and Lena (Munford) Hayden.

She lived most of her life in the Natrona Heights and Tarentum area.  Lorrene worked as a nurse’s aide and cared for many.  She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Brackenridge.  Lorrene enjoyed singing and dancing and liked reading her Bible.  

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Theopolis, Joseph, Lloyd Sr., Stanley, Roland and James Hayden and sisters, Carson Ann Kemp, her twin sister, Lorraine E. Chandler, Mary Wilson, Charlesa M. Hayden, and an infant sister, Avery Hayden.

In accordance with Lorrene’s wishes, a private viewing and service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 in the Paul R. Ajak Funeral Home, Inc., 2 Pine Street and River Avenue, Natrona.  Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at 11 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2023 at Mount Airy Cemetery Chapel, 2800 Old Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Burial will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery.
