Peggy Ann (Mildren) Hamilton
Age 90, of New Kensington, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021. She was born May 29, 1930, in New Kensington, the daughter of the late Art and Kate (Skillen) Mildren. Peggy was a longtime resident of New Kensington. She was raised by her parents in the only single dwelling home of Memorial Park, New Kensington.
Peggy Ann was a graduate of New Kensington High School Class of 1948. She was a secretary for WearEver Aluminum Company and then, later in life, was a secretary for Aluminum City Terrace, where she lived for 59 years. She liked watching sports, traveling on casino trips and was an avid reader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Hamilton, and her sisters, Annette Konold, Roxanne Mildren and a sister in infancy. Survivors include her two daughters, Amy (Joseph) Gablick, of Lower Burrell, and Lori (Edward) Guzikowski, of New Kensington; five grandchildren, Kelly (Jason) Luckasevic, of Sea Pines Hilton Head, S.C., Katie Gablick, of Lower Burrell, Caitlin Guzikowski, of Latrobe, Ethan Guzikowski, of New Kensington, and Carolyn Guzikowski, of New Kensington; three great-grandchildren, Addison and Alexis Luckasevic and Livie Dunlap; and her sister, Betty (Tom) Phillips, of Leechburg.
Private family visitation and service were held in the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME, Creighton. Burial followed in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
