Raymond F. “Wimpy” Urbanski, Age 89, of Natrona, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Born on April 22, 1933 in Natrona, he was the son of the late Frank and Stella (Block) Urbanski. Raymond was a lifelong Natrona resident.
He was a graduate of the DePaul School for Hearing and Speech in Pittsburgh. Raymond worked for 50 years as a house painter at various establishments. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, the former Saint Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church in Natrona. Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his sons and was an active member in many of the local clubs.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Sylvia (Argiro) Urbanski, four sons, Raymond F. (Sue) Urbanski, Frank F. (Cynthia “Sam”) Urbanski, Harvey F. (Maureen) Urbanski, and Tom F. (Dee) Urbanski, two daughters, Phyllis A. (Mark) Woodward and Julie A. (David) Wise, sixteen (16) grandchildren and ten (10) great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Vivian A. Urbanski and Jama A. Key, and his siblings, Casimer Urbanski, John Urbanski, Ignatius Urbanski, Leonard Urbanski and Helen Walkiewicz.
Private family visitation and the Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass with Fr. Andrew Fischer, presiding was held Wednesday, November 23rd at the Paul R. Ajak Funeral Home, Inc., 2 Pine Street at River Ave. Natrona, PA 15065. Burial followed in Saint Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
