Robert Cheran
Age 84 of Fawn Township, passed away on July 4, 2022 at home. He was born June 19, 1938 in Culmerville, PA and was the son of late Nick and Daisy (Donavitch) Cheran. He grew up in Curtisville and attended high school there. He was an Army veteran. He resided in Fawn his whole life. He worked at Marmon Keystone for many years where he retired from.
Robert enjoyed going to his camp at Presque Isle and spending time with family and friends there. He also loved playing horse shoes and was in a league for several years. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and taking care of his garden.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Frye) Cheran, Edward Hair (son) George (Betty) Cheran, Ronald Cheran (brother), Elsie (Joe) Nucera (sister), Charlotte (Dick) Lowery (sister).
He is survived by his companion Nancy Rankin of Butler and children Jeffrey (Jennifer) Hair. Christine (Michael) Lott, Gary Cheran, Jodi Cheran. Nick Cheran (brother), Judy Potkovich (sister) and grandchildren Patrick Hair, Caitlin Sasinoski, Logan Lott. and Lexie Lott.
Services and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME, Inc., Creighton.
