Ronald L. Smith

Age 82, of Creighton, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at Rebecca Residence, West Deer Township. He was born July 24, 1938, in Creighton, and was the son of the late Howard and Jennie (Brown) Smith. Ron retired in December 1988 from Liberty Mirror, Brackenridge, where he worked as a glass cutter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Ron was a member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church, Sarver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar Smith and Howard Smith; and four sisters, Bertha Mae Smith, who died in childhood,  Margaret McCracken, Jennie Janosky and Gladys Mraz. Survivors include his three nieces, three nephews, four great-nieces, one great-nephew, three great-great nieces and one great-great-nephew.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2021, at PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME INC., 921 Freeport Road, Creighton, PA 15030. Due to current regulations, masks and social distancing are required in the funeral home. Services and burial in Deer Creek Cemetery are private.
