Sally A. Hunter
Age 72 of Brackenridge passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born December 12, 1948 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Rev. John and Roberta (Browning) Knapp. Sally is survived by her beloved husband, George D. Hunter; loving mother of James C. Hunter of Cheswick, Tracie (James) Moody of Natrona Heights and Amber Hunter of Brackenridge; cherished grandmother of Jen (Ryan) Hunter Stambaugh, Justen (Emily) Hunter, Travis Moody and Brittany Moody; step grandmother of Alyssa Moody and James T. Moody.
Sally thrived around people and enjoyed nothing more than getting together for gatherings and especially holidays. She loved to decorate for all the major holidays, but her home shone the brightest around Christmas, her favorite holiday. In her quiet time she liked to watch movies on the Hallmark channel or do word searches. She made an impression on everyone she met, and will be leaving a large hole that will be felt for many years to come.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 2nd, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 2 Pine St. at River Ave. Natrona. Service and Interment Private.
