Virginia A. (Lesczynski) Polliard
Age 90, formerly of Natrona, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021. She was a longtime resident of Natrona until she moved to live with her daughter in Dover, Pennsylvania five years ago.
She was born on October 25, 1930 in Natrona and was the daughter of the late Chester and Marie (Steblick) Lesczynski. Virginia was a graduate of Saint Joseph High School Class of 1948 and the Saint Joseph School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for many years working at Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, Miners Clinic, Home Health Nursing, and Russellton Medical Group until she retired at age 76. She was a member of Guardian Angels Parish/St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, Natrona. Virginia especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Merryman of Dover, Pa., three grandsons, Cody Merryman of Dover, Tyler (Shaye) Merryman of Dover, and Jevenson (Nicole) Villanueva of Red Lion, a great-grandson, Landon Merryman, a great-granddaughter, Nova Villanueva, her brother, Ronald (Marlene) Leslie of Natrona Heights, her sister, Rita Leslie of Saxonburg, her sister-in-law, Geri Leslie of Natrona, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank O. Polliard, her son, F. Kevin Polliard and her brother, Fred Leslie. Paul R. Ajak Funeral Home, Inc., Natrona was entrusted with Virginia's private family visitation and blessing service. Burial followed at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer.
